Intern in your own company (SLIEB)

Interning at your own business while earning academic credits? The SLIEB program (Interning in Your Own Business) makes it happen. Working together with other motivated students guided by experienced coaches, you'll systematically elevate your independent professional practice to the next level.

Your professional practice thus grows as you constantly encounter practical experiences. With the SLIEB programme, we make it possible for our students who wish to enter the work field during their studies.

Intern in your own business prepares you for the tumultuous cultural work field, gives you a head start in your development as an artist and gives you access to an extensive network of relevant contacts. After SLIEB, there are even possible follow-ups of in-depth routes.

For who?

The SLIEB is open to you if you are a full-time or part-time bachelor student, if you're registered with the Chamber of Commerce, and can indicate that you have a plan that includes ambition and growth potential. Customised formats, such as postponement (not cancellation) of certain obligations, will be considered with your course to make participation possible.

Online information session

To provide students with more information about SLIEB, an online information session is scheduled multiple times a year. During this session, we will explain what is required to participate in this program. Students and other interested parties can register by contacting Andrew David.

Apply

If interested, schedule a meeting with Andrew David, the SLIEB coordinator at the ArtEZ, so he can explain everything. You will then submit the official application, consisting of a motivation, business plan and a Chamber of Commerce number. If your application is accepted, you will then consult your course. You will be invited for an intake interview.
