After graduation

After graduating from the Moving Image course at AKI, you are a specialist in Moving Image and can work both independently and in a team context. As such, you can start work in a range of places in the (inter)national world of film, communication and design.  

Title and diploma 

After graduating in the Moving Image course, you may use the title of Bachelor of Arts (BA).  

This study can be found in the Central Register of Higher Education Study Programmes (CROHO) under code 39111. The formal name of the course, by which it is known in the CROHO, is Bachelor of Design. This CROHO name will appear on your diploma. 

Starting work 

With your diploma, you can work as a professional in a wide range of contexts in both the cultural and the applied sector at home and abroad (e.g. in digital communication, visual arts design, experimental film, cinematography, docufiction and image processing)

Continue studying? 

With the solid theoretical and practical base, the Moving Image course provides an excellent basis for a specialised national or international Master, such as Film Directing, Fine Arts or Media Studies.  

If you wish to get a first level teaching qualification, take the Fine Art and Design in Education (Tailor Made) course at ArtEZ. This course is given in both Zwolle and in Arnhem.
