Making meaning from our ‘mistakes’ in music therapy

The music therapy profession has reached maturity. Like any health care profession, music therapists no longer only share success stories, but should also face their 'mistakes'. By sharing 'mistakes' the profession can move forward in defining its boundaries and limitations.

The ArtEZ Music-Based Therapies and Interventions Professorship organizes:

  • An International Seminar for Music Therapists: "Making meaning from our ‘mistakes’ in music therapy" on Tuesday 12 February 2019 from 9.00 - 18.00 hrs, at the ArtEZ Academy of Music in Enschede, The Netherlands.
  • Keynote presentations of Avi Gilboa, Brian Harris, Daniel Thomas and Laurien Hakvoort.
  • For Dutch music therapists the SRVB registration is expected to accredit the seminar for 6 points.
