After graduation

After graduation

After the course, there is a world of job opportunities waiting for you. There is plenty of work and the field is growing.

A few of the possibilities

Our graduates find work in schools and in extramural education. In extramural education, you can work as an independent cultural entrepreneur, conceiver and maker of theatre projects, theatre maker/director/workshop provider in neighbourhoods, at festivals or in the theatre, for theatre companies, theatre schools and arts centres, for the educational services of theatre groups and museums, as a trainer in business or as an audience worker at theatres. Moreover, thanks to the way we train our students, there are more opportunities in mbo (intermediate vocational) education: both audiovisual and in theatre education.

Title and diploma

Our graduates are thoroughly prepared and qualified to start work in either primary education or secondary education. That means you can teach drama in all forms of education: primary, secondary lower years and upper years, vocational education and adult education. In addition, our graduates can find a niche in educational roles outside regular education. The degree awarded at the end of the course is a BEd (Bachelor of Education).
