After graduation

Upon completion of the MediaMusic programme, you will have the title Bachelor of Music. In principle, MediaMusic students have a 100 per cent chance of finding work, as specialists or as broadly schooled music and technology professionals.

Former students usually end up in one or more of the following three work fields:

Composition and production

  • Producer (song writing, bands, artists, dance, pop, chart hits)
  • Composer (films, games)
  • Media composer (commercials, jingles, ringtones, internet)
  • Studio engineer (recording, f.o.h., broadcast, mastering, dubbing, sound production)
  • Sound designer (adr, foley, sfx, sample CD/libraries)

Professional musician

  • Recording musician in the music industry
  • Performer (keyboardist, DJ, performer, singer-songwriter)
  • Coaching
  • Workshops
  • Demos
  • Educator (synthesis, music production, studio engineering, sound design or design methods and edutainment teacher)

 One of the services we offer graduates is starter guidance, which is advice for setting up your own company.

Further studies

The Master of Music links perfectly with the Bachelor’s programme. In this Master’s programme you can further specialise in the direction that appeals to you most.

Alumni

The MediaMusic study programme prepares you for a broad work field. For instance, former students have contributed to music and audio, at home and abroad, for: Ratchet & Clank, Far Cry, Apple, Inception, Roland, Korg, Clavia, Audi, Native Instruments, iOS apps, Korg, After Forever, Yamaha, Metropool Orkest, Cascada, Warner Brothers, Prague Philharmonic, RTL Germany, BBC, Marco Borsato, Batman, Superman,  Sony, Ayreon, Commercials & Leaders for NPO and RTL, Tiësto, Unheilig, Classic in Rock (Ahoy), Epica, Mad Maxx Fury Road, and Black Mass.
