5 Masters of Music in 3 cities

The ArtEZ Academy of Music offers five Masters of music: Jazz & Pop en Music Theatre in Arnhem, Jazz & Pop and Classical Music in Zwolle and Music Therapy in Enschede.

Performing and making in Arnhem

Authenticity, creativity and artistry – heightened with a touch of whimsy – are the cornerstones of the master Jazz & Pop in Arnhem. With imagination, the artistic process and the art of performance serving as focus points, you bring out the best in yourself. Deepen and intensify your practice, broaden your scope and dare to experiment. The Dutch Master Music Theatre challenges you to find your strength and signature as a maker and performer. Learn the languages of theatre and music and shape your own practice. The programme helps you to become (more) aware of your unique identity as professional specialist and to find new ways to tell stories.

Performing and curating in Zwolle

With the two-year Master’s course in Zwolle, you develop your artistic signature as a professional musician, performer and curator. The course comes in two flavours: Classical Music and Jazz & Pop. In both, you focus on exploring new approaches to music, expanding the field with renewed relevance in an interdisciplinary community of highly skilled, proactive and flexible musicians.

Innovating in Enschede

The Sound of Innovation in Enschede is about discovering and exploring innovative products, projects and concepts that have roots in music, but reach far beyond. Make impact with music as a gamechanger in in the creative, technological, health care and educational sectors, while anticipating the latest societal developments and learning to speak the languages of different disciplines.

 Upon successful completion of one of the Masters of Music, you are entitled to use the academic title Master of Music (MMus).
