B!NGO is a project organised by the ArtEZ programmes Jazz & Pop, Dance, Theatre, Creative Writing, Base for Art, Experiment & Research and Music Theatre. Students look for a match by getting to know each other through the use of speed dating, after which multidisciplinary groups are formed.
We are familiar with it from the movies: someone is going on a trip and packs their luggage to embark on a train. You can tell by the way the luggage is picked up that it is empty. When is something real? When is something convincing? During this project students will explore what is expressed by objects through representation and how its expression of time, history and personal value can be translated into other forms in a convincing manner, whereby the question of whether it is real or fake becomes irrelevant.
The Artistic Research Festival is the closure of the 4th year’s Research Course. During this graduation year students examine their propositions and domain of their own work. The goal of this course is that students take a better position in the field of arts. Students will examine their own work with a discursive element. Guests, tutors, teachers and theory teachers will provide them with feedback. The artistic research is a great opportunity for students to test and experiment with their final works before the finals.
