Step 1: Apply via Studielink

You first apply via Studielink. Depending on where you live and what stage of your studies you are at, you need to submit some important documents, such as a copy of your passport and your bachelor degree. Studielink will help you through this step by step.

Step 2: Entrance examination

After you have applied via Studielink, you will be invited to submit a motivation letter, your portfolio, a project case and a promotional video. An initial selection will take place on the basis of these. If you pass, an admission interview lasting half an hour will follow.

  • The first round concerns your motivation letter, your portfolio (or showreel), and a promotional video. Show your creativity, but be concise: preferably no long intros or complete songs. The maximum length of the promotional video is 5 minutes. You will also be sent a project case to work on.

You need to hand in all this material no later than 2 weeks before the interview round.

  • During the audition interview, you can introduce yourself in person and provide further information if necessary. You will have the opportunity to ask questions about the course. We will discuss whether or not your ideas and ambitions are realistic, achievable and suitable for this specific master's course. During the interview, we will discuss your motivation, showreel or portfolio of work, promotional video and your elaboration of the project case.
