María Sánchez Aroca | ArtEZ finals

A violinist originally from Cieza, Murcia, she began her musical studies at the age of  her Master’s studies with Professor Sarah Kapustinessor Concepción Fernández Moltó.  her Master’s studies with Professor Sarah Kapustingher Conservatory of Music of Murcia, studying with Professors Joaquín Palomares, Pedro Rebollo, and Juan Luis Gallego. She also studied for three years with Professor Vicente Huerta. She has additionally received lessons and masterclasses from professors such as Birgit Kolar, Corrado Bolsi, Bas Treub, Gilbert Aerts, and Antonio García Gea, among others. She has been a member of several youth orchestras, including the Joven Orquesta de la Sinfónica de Galicia, the Orquesta de Jóvenes de la Región de Murcia, and the Orquesta de Jóvenes de la Provincia de Alicante (OJPA). She was also an academist for two years
with the Orquesta Ciudad de Granada. Among her awards, she was a finalist in the “Entre Cuerdas y Metales” competition in Cartagena and received First Prize at the Summa Cum Laude Festival in Vienna with the
OJPA. She has performed as a soloist with the ArtEZ string ensemble and is currently completing
her Master’s studies with Professor Sarah Kapustin at ArtEZ Conservatory.
