Opera Forward Festival 2025
Between March 14 and 23, 2025, the Opera Forward Festival (OFF) will burst into life once again, in collaboration with fourth-year Music Theatre and Composition for Film and Theatre students! This is the festival where you can discover new and experimental opera.
Especially for OFF, opera projects of all shapes and sizes are being developed. In addition to three brand-new productions on the main stage, the entire theater will be taken over by student labs, concerts, performances, and other events. Meet the opera makers of today and tomorrow, and be surprised by the diverse program that OFF has to offer.
In this ninth edition of the festival, we simultaneously look back and ahead: how did we get here, and where can we go from here? In a time marked by polarization, crises, and violence, we seek a way forward. The overarching question of the festival is: *What aim, what future, what peace?* What goal, what future, what peace are we striving for?
