Three nominations Fashion Weekend 2010

Fashion Weekend is an international fashion contest organised by Belgian magazines Knack Weekend and Weekend Le Vif. Ten young designers, selected by the editors of Knack Weekend and Weekend Le Vif, will show their graduation collection in front of 2000 guests made up of designers, stylists, fashion professionals, politicians.
 

Those candidates are young graduates of prestigious international fashion schools. This year we are selecting students from La Cambre in Brussels, the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London and Fashion Institute Arnhem in Arnhem.

The winner receives a prize at the value of 10.000 euros and the recognition of a professional jury.  The first edition of Fashion Weekend was held in 2003. The track record of previous candidates shows that this event is an important springboard for promising talent. Young designers such as Cathy Pill or Sandrina Fasoli are a significant testimony to this.

This year Fashion Weekend will take place on the 20th of October (doors open at 19.00, show is at 21.00).
