Master's courses

Alongside its Bachelor’s courses, ArtEZ also offers ten Master’s courses where students continue to work on their artistic excellence in a more internationally oriented context. Here, they learn to weigh up their work, to locate it in both an historical and a contemporary framework, and to forge links with not only other arts disciplines but also areas outside of the arts.

Confrontation and depth
Thinking in a conceptual and innovative way; maintaining an inventive and investigative attitude. These are vital qualities for Master’s students where your course involves confronting professional practice. You will explore the context, and develop your personal vision, confidence and resilience.

Context
Master’s students consciously compare themselves with their fellow-students, lecturers and environment. Through practical assignments and conducting research, you will be emphatically specialising within the context of the dynamic world that surrounds you. Your self-awareness as an artist or performer will have been boosted by the time you have completed your Master’s course. In addition, you will be able to define your own strategy, initiate innovation and win over those around you.
