Minors
ArtEZ students can select from a wide choice of minors. A minor comprises a cohesive range of 15 credits that, for most courses, is taught in the first semester of the third year.
As a student, a minor offers you the opportunity to study a subject outside of your own course for a period of six months or to explore your own professional field in greater depth.
Some minors are disciplinary while others involve collaboration between students from different arts disciplines: dancers with artists, designers with musicians and other combinations. Frequently, people from the professional field are brought in as guest lecturers for particular minors.
With the exception of the teacher training courses and Music Therapy, all ArtEZ students on full-time Bachelor’s courses must study a minor. In some cases, students from other colleges or universities can enrol for a minor at ArtEZ.
