Dutch language course
Students with no knowledge or only very basic knowledge of the Dutch language are recommended to participate in the ArtEZ Dutch language course. This intensive Dutch language course is organized by Eurolinguist.
Students starting the autumn semester can participate in an introduction course into the Dutch language that lasts approximately five weeks. This course usually starts in July. Students that have been accepted for exchange will be informed about this course. Alternatively, you could also apply for an EILC language course.
As soon as you have been accepted to ArtEZ you will get an information brochure with more details about the language course.
Moreover, we recommend to study some Dutch basics by yourself (e.g. free online exercises) before your relocation to the Netherlands.
If you do not have a Eurolinguist certificate at the start of your course, you are obliged to hand us an official certificate from your home country stating that you reached the required level. We do, however, recommend you to take part in the ArtEZ Dutch language course.
