Congratulations to Martijn Emmen for receiving a start-up voucher

Martijn spent the last few months working at the ArtEZ Business Centre(ABC) to get the start-up voucher worth €2.500. This voucher is for Han, RU, VHL, and ArtEZ alums to give them a flying start on their business up to three years after graduation.
 
He has developed an innovative concept where students can choose from various learning routes, allowing them to focus on their individual goals and stay motivated. This concept is based on Martijn's experience, in which the curriculum did not match his interests. In addition, Martijn invites his students to record their skills in Guitar Studio Deventer's professional studio, with audio and video capabilities, so that they can share their guitar skills on platforms like TikTok or Instagram.
 
To refine his plan, Martijn participated in ABC's Starter Programme after graduation, a two-day workshop that covers all the essential aspects of setting up a business and provides ideal preparation for applying for the voucher.
He then entered the special coaching route to apply for the voucher. In this route, someone reads along with the plan and serves as a sparring partner.
This careful preparation has paid off, as the assessment committee gave an upbeat assessment last week!
