At ArtEZ, students receive a theatre education that prepares them to become actors or drama educators. The ArtEZ School of Acting is an important breeding ground for self-assured actors. Completion of the Theatre in Education programme gives you a good start in education, as a drama teacher or an educational specialist in professional theatre companies.

The ArtEZ theatre courses are part of the ArtEZ Academy of Theatre in Arnhem and Zwolle. The Bachelor of Theatre course is based in Arnhem and the Bachelor of Theatre in Education course is available in both Arnhem and Zwolle.

Fluent spoken Dutch is required for both courses. See the language requirements.

This is not required for exchange students who are here for a short period of time.
