ArtEZ School of Music
With more than 900 students and 250 teachers, ArtEZ School of Music is one of the largest music colleges in the Netherlands
The ArtEZ School of Music is located in Arnhem, Enschede and Zwolle. The total of eight departments cover the complete spectrum of music. Although all the locations have first-rate courses and facilities, there are some minor differences concerning, for instance, the choice of main subjects.
A major music college with three locations combines the advantages of being both large-scale and small-scale. One of the advantages is that you will receive a great deal of personal attention. Students and lecturers know each other;
you’re not just a number here. Moreover, as an ArtEZ student, you will benefit from all the facilities and opportunities of a large school of music. You can regularly play with students from other locations in a variety of ensembles. In addition, you will attend master classes that are given by international guest lecturers and are organised for all the students at different locations.
The School of Music is part of the ArtEZ Institute of the Arts. This means that you will regularly meet ArtEZ students from other arts disciplines. We also work jointly with external artists and organisations, which results in interesting projects.
